I believe a very good book on dealing with and learning from adveristy is, "Learning to Fall" by Phillip Simmons. Mr. Simmons has ALS and he writes his story of learning to live with (accepting) this disease and still enjoy life (perhaps even more than before).

I assumed that the book was about a person accepting the fact that he had ALS and the impact on his life (including his family) ... but it is so much more.

I have communicated via email with Mr. Simmons and he is very inspirational.

I just checked with my library to see if they had this book and they do. I am looking forward to reading it, thanks for the recommendation Bruce Smiler
