Dr. Chang gave a presentation at the 2008 KDA conference. While his results sounded encouraging, he also said it would take significant time to accomplish the needed clinical trials to show that ASC-J9 is safe and effective. Further update: The company that is currently testing ASC-J9 has applied to NIH for funding a clinical trial. NIH is looking at performing certain tests prior to authorizing any funding to validate proof of concept. We hope to have more on this in our upcoming newsletter.
