What exactly makes a KD test positive? Can anyone fill me in on the evaluation process?

Thanks!

A DNA blood test can determine if you have the genetic code sequence that meet the criteria to be diagnosed with KD. The code sequence withing the DNA strand are read and the number of times the C A and G (cytosine-adenine- guanine) repeat in the strand tell them if you in the normal range of repeats or not. See this website for a better understanding and it also has a chart. My CAG repeats were 49 (see chart)

I hope this helps
