Was any of this mentioned in this past weekend MDA Telethon? Seems that news like this would be something that the MDA would exploit to let viewers know that there is progress going on in our battle against MD/Kennedy's. |

Maria Pennuto's research looks promising. Dr. Fischbeck believes there could be a clinical trial within the next year on IGF-1. They have more tests to perform to establish dosage, safety, etc.
Maria will be our chat room guest November 7th. Don't miss it. Also, read this weekend's chat transcripts with Diane Merry, PhD, of Thomas Jefferson University. She did an excellent job of explaining current research. Her comments are most promising. |
