I have recently been diagnosed with KD. I feel my muscle weakness is at an early stage but recently have had a painful throat for the past 4 months. My GP doesn't think it is related to KD and I have no infection. Is a painful throat especially when swallowing a condition which is normally found in KD?

I can only reply using my personal experience and from comments from several others with KD. A sore throat is not normally a symptom of KD.

Another comment for your consideration since you are fairly new to our ranks: We have to be careful that we don't associate every unusual symptom or health issue with KD. If it isn't listed in the common symptoms for KD, make certain you check with your GP or neurologist. If it found to be KD related, let us know. If not, at least you will know and your doctor can run other tests.
