I occasionally stumble, have been known to fall;
my speech is sometimes slurred, and at times can't talk at all;
It might be tough should I be found just napping on the grass,
to prove that I am not on drugs or one too many glass;
and if they shoved that plastic thing, in my face to blow
and my lips didn't seal or my chest had a cramp,how are they to know
that I was just there resting cause the sun was shining bright
and I was feeling really good, but don't sleep well at night.
Ok, enough poetry, anyone out there use Medic Alert and what do you have engraved on it? Has it helped any one out of a nasty situation?

Thanks Dan; got the card in my wallet but still uncertain what to put on the bracelet. Because it is uncomfortable to drive with the wallet in my pocket, and I live in a small town rural area, I am often 'out and about' without my papers .. probably not wise, but it happens (I do have a full earthquake kit in all vehicles) and I know that looking in pockets is not usually the first response around here if there is any question of drug use.
