Diabetes
During my second NIH visit (early Dec. 2006)they discover that I'm diabetic. I have been a good bit weaker lately. My local doctor thinks I'm getting a double whammy. That the glucose is staying in the viens and not getting into the muscles to give them energy.
Any one else experienced this? Or does this theory not make sense?
THanks

Fenugreek seeds 20 are very useful in diabetes. Soak about 90 -100 seeds in 250 grams of water and leave it overnight. Mash them in the morning and sieve in a cloth and drink mixture regularly. Use for at least 2 months to cure diabetes. Good Home Remedy for Diabetes.

Prepare a mixture by adding equal amounts of turmeric powder and dried gooseberry powder with honey or drink equal amounts of gooseberry juice and fresh turmeric juice on an empty stomach regularly.

Regrets on your problems. I am not diabetic, but I don't think it is known to be associated with KD. I don't know enough to comment on your theory.

Good Morning, I agree that there is no direct link between KD and diabetes. A small percentage of KD'rs do have diabetes, but probably not any greater percentage than others.

I would be cautious using any home remedies (sorry Hunter). There are good treatments available today and your doctor or a specialist can help you better manage this health concern. Good luck!

I am in agreement with Bruce, and as a retired RN, I know that the sucrose in honey and the fructose in gooseberries would not be recommended as any treatment for managing diabetes.
