My PC wants me to start taking 5mg of Pravastatin to lower my LDL which is a tad on the high side. I've been told 'statins' may exacerbate muscle weakness and/or pain in people with neuromuscular conditions and should be avoided. He assures me (he has no neurology training I'm aware of) that such a small dosage will be fine and reactions like that are extremely rare. has anybody here experienced anything like this? TIA
