Hi Everyone! My name is Amy Kaczmarek and I posted on another forum but I thought I would also post here as well. I'm doing my Genetic Counseling Master's Degree Thesis research study on Kennedy's Disease, investigating the social support and ways men with KD cope. Though family members and spouses cannot directly participate in the research they are still greatly affected by it - they are the people who have to care for their loved one and give the support that is needed. I would encourage you to have your loved one participate in the research; all it involves is taking an approximately 20 minute online survey. The more participants there are the more information we will receive on how we can better help those who have Kennedy's Disease.
