Hello,

My name is Kacie, I am a carrier. My father has KD and is almost 67. This past summer he has lost his ability to take anything orally resulting in a feeding tube. Then about 3 months ago he began having breathing difficulties and now has a trach. After 3 months he still requires the ventilator at night and oxygen. He is not bouncing back from this as he has in the past from KD associated issues. Does anyone have experience with the ventilator and trach and can share their experiences with me.
