Hi there,

Sorry for the potentially gross discussion, but has anyone experienced uptake in their BMs over the years and most of them requiring a rush to the bathroom? If so, has anything helped to quiet this? It’s almost like a response within minutes of eating. Thank you!

My first thought would be a food sensitivity to a regularly consumed food. I had problems with intermittent excess/loose stools for years before I realized I had an issue with pulses (most beans and peas). I could eat moderate amounts without much reaction and the reaction was not immediate so it took a while to realize they were trouble for me. It took even longer to realize it extended to other legumes such as cashews and peanuts. More recently I discovered coconut can trigger me too although it takes quite a lot.
